Wolfram Fette's first musical experiences were as a member of the Knabenchor Hannover under the direction of Heinz Hennig. He later sang with the Wiesbaden Chamber Choir, the ‘I Vocalisti’ Chamber Choir of Lübeck and with the Dresden Chamber Choir. After studying the publishing industry in Leipzig, Kössler went on to receive hands-on training in the music publishing world and, after completing his diploma, became Sales Manager for the Hamburg-based children’s publisher Carlsen, following this in 2003 with the founding of the artist and concert agency ‘FETTE Konzerte’ in Hannover.
In 2007 Wolfram Fette became Secretary General of the AMJ Music and Youth Work Group in Wolfenbüttel where he was responsible for up to 160 national and international courses for children, young people, families and facilitators, as well as for the planning and realisation of large international choir festivals and exchange programmes.
Between 2012 and 2016, Wolfram Fette was a member of Munich Music GmbH & Co KG where he managed artists such as Bobby McFerrin and Canadian Brass. As Project Manager he was responsible for Jonas Kaufmann’s concert tours as well as those of Edita Gruberova, Olga Peretyatko, Klaus Florian Vogt and Martin Stadtfeld. Until 2015 he was a member of the German Music Council’s Choir Advisory Board and since 2003 has been a member of the Hypovereinsbank’s ‘Jugend kulturell’. He also became manager for the Knabenchor Hannover and all its concert engagements in 2017 and was a jury member for the German Choir Competition in 2010 and 2014.
Wolfram Fette is member of the board and head of artistic planning of the International A Cappella Week Hannover.
